How to choose the professional dishwasher?
Make sure you have all the measurements of your kitchen, to be able to choose the equipment that best suits your spaces. Also pay attention to the drain, which could be on the floor or higher than the tub!
Secondly, you understand well what kind of kitchen products and accessories you need to wash. The large dishwashers can be divided into these macro categories:
- professional cup washers / glass washers 35 × 35 or 38 × 38 or 40 × 40 basket, available with wide spout height in some models;
- undercounter dishwasher professional 50 × 50 basket: they may or may not have a tripod;
- dishwasher 50 × 50 basket: they look like an undercounter dishwasher, but are as high as a hood dishwasher;

What to always check when choosing the dishwasher?
- dimensions of the machine: width, depth, maximum height;
- supply 230V or 400V: many can only be three-phase;
- lo drain is on the floor? If it is not on the floor or, in any case, it is higher than the machine tank, the drain pump is required;
- dosers: the rinse aid dispenser is always incorporated, the detergent dispenser is not, because it is often given on loan for use by those who deal with detergents;
- the water is it treated? Is there a purification plant upstream? Is the water very calcareous? If so, filters (or osmosis) are needed. Based on the water measurement, a good technician will be able to advise you on the right filter, which will also save you on detergency.
