Le large dishwashers can be divided into 3 macro categories:
- professional cup / glasswasher basket 35 × 35 or 38 × 38 or 40 × 40, available with wide spout height in some models;
- professional undercounter dishwashers with 50 × 50 basket: they may or may not have a stand;
- dishwasher basket 50 × 50: they look like an undercounter dishwasher, but are as high as a hood dishwasher;
- 50 × 50 basket hood dishwashers: they have a lifting hood and need, to work well, a sink at the entrance and an exit table with sliding baskets;
- rack-type dishwasher or rack-type dishwasher.
What to check when choosing an industrial dishwasher:
- machine dimensions: width, depth, maximum height;
- 230V or 400V power supply: many can only be three-phase;
- is the drain on the floor? If it is not on the floor or, in any case, it is higher than the tank of the machine, the drain pump is necessary;
- dispensers: the rinse aid dispenser is always incorporated, the detergent dispenser is not, because it is often given on loan for use by those who deal with detergents;
- is the water treated? Is there a purification plant upstream? Is the water very calcareous? If so, filters (or osmosis) are needed. Based on the water measurement, a good technician will be able to recommend the right filter, which will also save you on detergency.
Differences of models
The Fast series has electromechanical control and a limited number of washing programs. Furthermore, the construction is in single wall except for the door.
The other series, Ocean, Niagara, Mistral and River, have digital control and double wall construction.
