The fry top is a professional piece of equipment that is used like a grill for browning meat, fish or vegetables.

This requires greater care in maintenance.

In addition to the gas cooking plate, the professional meat plate can be an electric fry top. This has powerful resistances and generally requires a three-phase connection with a red plug.
