What are the most common dryer error codes? How can they be solved?
THEerror E14 it is a gas error, present only for the gas versions. To solve it, open the gas cock, reset the error by pressing the “gas reset” button and restart the machine. L'error E15instead, it's about overloading. The closing of the door may not be detected by the machine so it is advisable to reduce the load and check that the filter is clean. What to do if the dryer error codes persist
If the error codes of the dryer persist and it is not possible to resolve them independently, it is advisable to restart the equipment and eventually call a technician. To facilitate his work, it is a good idea to provide him with the model of the appliance and the serial number found on the plate.
What to do if the laundry is wet?
If the laundry is too wet there can be two causes: the load is excessive or the selected time is not enough. In the first case it is advisable to recharge the appliance by reducing the quantity, in the second it is advisable to increase the drying time or select a different program.
How to maintain the dryer?
Daily basis it is a good idea to clean the filter by removing the fluff (the accumulation of threads) and check that there are no air leaks from the door.
Every three monthsinstead, it would be a good idea to check that the air inlet (on the rear side of the appliance) is not blocked by dirt and remove it if necessary. Furthermore, it is necessary to check the draft of the chimney and clean the surface of the basket with citric acid using an abrasive sponge.
How to clean the dryer?
Wash the stainless steel surfaces with warm soapy water, avoiding the use of cleaning products containing abrasive substances, steel wool, brushes or steel scrapers, then rinse with a wet cloth and dry carefully. Do not use chlorine and ammonia based products.
Clean the dashboard with a soft cloth moistened with water and, if necessary, neutral detergents.
Do not wash the appliance with direct or high pressure water jets.
